The Nexyn Story

Decentralized. Private. Built by one person.

How it began: frustration with the giants

In 2025 I faced a problem almost every gamer, developer and tech enthusiast shares: we want to talk to our friends, collaborate and share screens — but to do it we have to sell our data to huge, centralized platforms. Over the years the established tools grew more bloated, harvested more metadata, served ads, and lost sight of what it is really about: pure, performant, private communication on the web.

I asked myself: why, in 2026, do we even still need a central server eavesdropping on our conversations and building profiles, when we could communicate straight from PC to PC?

Since no solution on the market met my standards for real data sovereignty and technical purity, I decided to build it myself. That was the birth of Nexyn.

The “one-man army” behind the code

There is no highly-paid dev team in a Silicon Valley office behind Nexyn. Nexyn is developed 100% by me alone.

From the first cryptographic concept to the WebRTC mesh architecture, the granular role system, the Windows builds, right down to this website — every single line of code, every bugfix and every UI detail is made solo. Carrying a project like this alone takes countless nights in front of the monitor. But that very independence lets me keep Nexyn uncompromisingly clean: no committees, no investors, no ads, no backdoors.

The architect and the AI: next-generation software development

Even though I work on Nexyn alone, the client carries the combined power of cutting-edge technology. Nexyn is a true “next-gen project”: I use advanced AI assistance as my co-pilot to lift the software to a professional, stable level in record time.

Every security design (like the end-to-end encryption of channels), every routing optimization in the P2P network and the entire user interface were conceived, structured and precisely implemented by me with the help of AI code generation. I no longer write code dully line by line — I conduct it.

It proves that a single person with the right vision and the right AI tools can today build complex software infrastructure that used to require dev teams worth millions.

Our (my) philosophy

Nexyn is a statement for the decentralized web. The software follows three iron rules:

  • Your identity is yours There is no central user database. Your identity is based on your own, local Ed25519 keys.
  • Your hardware, your network The pure P2P architecture uses the power of your own hardware instead of making you dependent on third-party corporate cloud infrastructure.
  • Uncompromising performance No server lag in a data center. Data streams flow the most direct, fastest way — peer to peer.

The road to beta and beyond

What began as an experimental voice tool runs stably today in open beta. It is an incredible feeling to see the decentralized connections running stably across the global network — the vision become reality.

Nexyn will keep growing — step by step, independent, and driven by a genuine passion for good code. As long as there are people who value their privacy and uncompromising performance, I will keep coding the future of Nexyn.

Thank you for being part of this journey and supporting the decentralized web.
