2. Principle
This website is deliberately data-minimal. It sets no cookies and embeds no tracking, no analytics tools, no external fonts, CDNs or social-media plugins. All content is served exclusively from our own server.
3. Accessing the website
When you open the site, the server processes technically necessary connection data — in particular your device's IP address — in order to deliver the requested content. This is based on our legitimate interest in the secure and stable operation of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). No persistent access logs containing personal data are kept.
4. Hosting
The website is hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany. The provider processes the data required for delivery on our behalf (Art. 28 GDPR). The servers are located in Germany.
5. Contacting us
If you contact us by email, we process your details solely to handle your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR). The data is deleted once it is no longer required.
6. Feedback and bug reports
When you submit a report via the feedback form, you transmit the information you enter (type of report, title, description and – if you provide it voluntarily – an email address for follow-up questions). We process this data to handle the reported issue and improve Nexyn (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
The content of the report is stored as an entry in our bug tracker at GitHub (GitHub, Inc., USA) in a non-public repository. Please do not enter sensitive personal data in the text. In the client app you may optionally attach a diagnostic log (technical device info and an event log — without messages, keys or invite codes); it is only transmitted if you tick the box. An email address you provide voluntarily is used solely for follow-up questions about your report. To prevent abuse we briefly process your IP address to limit submission frequency; it is not stored in the bug tracker.
7. Your rights
You have the right to access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object (Art. 21 GDPR). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
8. Status
This policy applies to the operation of the website during the open beta and may be adapted as features change.
